Happy New Year!
We are in the process of getting the internet, but here's a brief post about our new place.
Here are a few pictures of our new apartment, mid-clean up. This is the new kitchen - a dream kitchen compared to our old, closet-kitchen.
It has a window for my plant! The sink shown here is currently stopped up in an epic way, but I'll tell you more about that in another post soon.
That area is to the left of our kitchen, and it's a nice little nook for our table and pantry shelves.
Our guest room is a little more put together now because Carla and Dave slept in it all week. I'll post the after-pictures sometime later this week or next. Between the crazy move, almost fire, Christmas, and a visit from our friends, we still have a fair amount of unpacking to do.

Our living room. This room also had to be somewhat cleared out for Carla and Dave's visit, since there was a lot of Wii happening in that room over the past few days.

We hate it, and so does our landlord. We may paint it over the summer.
Here's one of the best things about our new place - the back patio. Some previous tenant left their grill there.
You can see downtown through the trees on the left side.
It's so nice to have a bigger, safer apartment, run by a responsible adult. I'll post some more pictures when it's all put together.
